Deinove appoints business development director

Michael Krel will form industrial alliances with leading chemicals companies

Deinove, a French specialist in Deinococcus bacteria for biofuels, green chemistry and antibiotics, has appointed Michael Krel to the newly created post of executive vice president, business development.

Krel was previously business development manager at Metabolic Explorer, a green chemistry company specialising in the development of fermentation processes for commodity chemicals.

Deinove chief executive Jacques Biton said Krel’s main role will be to form collaborations and licensing deals with biofuels and chemicals companies worldwide.
